in fact MC MILLAN was of the opinion RUBY was over-solicitous to

the point of putting up a false front. MC MILLAN stated the

opinion he got was that RUBY was concerned only with RUBY and

was actually "self-centered".

MC MILLAN stated that he did not know anything about

RUBY's

political beliefs or background. He stated that he did

not know of any connection between RUBY and LEE HARVEY OSWALD.

He did not know if RUBY was acquainted with OSWALD. MC MILLAN

stated he• had no knowledge of OSWALD prior to the assassination

of President KENNEDY.

MC MILLAN added that he last knew of SLATIN to be

operating a lunch counter in the Lawrence Hotel, Dallas, Texas.


