at the Bryant Hotel on Bryant Street with her aunt KATHLEEN
FULLER. PEREZ
advised she applied for work at JACK RUBYls
Carousel night club after noticing an ad in one of the local
Dallas newspapers advertising for oocktail waitresses at Mrs
Carousel.
PEREZ
related she telephonically contacted the
Carousel and they told her to come down and apply. She
stated she did go to the Carousel located on Commerse Street,
Dallas, Texas, and at this time JACK RUBY was busy and was
unable to see her. She was told to come back the next day
which she did and at this time JACK RUBY talked with her and
invited her to lunch. She went to lunch with RUBY and another -
man whose name she does not recall and RUBY took her to a :
restaurant on Industrial Boulevard behind the

and at this time RUBY told her that he thought she would make
a good stripper. He offered to send her to a local strip
tease school so that she could work up a routine, learn a
strip act and then appear at his club.
PEREZ
stated that
she
told RUBY she would be agreeable to becoming a stripper because
she liked dancing and thought she would like the work.
PEREZ
stated her dealings with JACK RUBY Were strictly
limited to a few telephone conversations and this one specific
time which he took her to lunch. She advised the day after RUBY
took her to lunch she telephonically contacted him telling him
